Between who you are, who you're expected to be, and who you're still becoming, it can feel like there's little room to just be yourself.

Sound familiar?

Welcome! I’m Eleni, a native Austinite and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I believe that every person is wired to grow. In other words, all the answers you need are already inside you. My job as your therapist is to provide the space and tools that will assist you in building the internal safety needed to meet your whole self in new and deeper ways. And to allow you space to get creative about who you are and who you want to be!

As your therapist, I will work to create a space where you can feel comfortable to be your complete, authentic self. Together, we can meet this version of you with curiosity and compassion. My hope is to provide you with the practical skills you need to be present in this fast-paced, often dysregulating, world we live in. From that place of presence, I will walk with you as you meet yourself in new and deeper ways.

I work primarily from a trauma-informed, person-centered lens. This means that creating an authentic, collaborative, safe, and empowering relationship with you is my priority. I have always been fascinated by people and how our minds work. Helping people get to know themselves better and feel empowered to make the changes they want to make in their lives is so fulfilling for me. Because each person is endlessly unique, I also incorporate a variety of tools from different counseling theories into my practice.

I offer virtual sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also offer early morning and after-school/evening sessions to accommodate your schedule. I’d love to set up a consultation to see if we are a good fit!

Let’s connect and set up a consultation!

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): We'll focus on what matters most to you and help you take meaningful steps toward it, even when difficult thoughts or feelings show up.

  • Feminist Theory: We'll explore how social expectations, power dynamics, and cultural messages have shaped your experiences, while helping you reclaim your voice and sense of agency.

  • Gestalt: We'll slow down and pay attention to what's happening in the present moment, building awareness of your emotions, needs, and patterns.

  • Existential Therapy: We'll explore life's bigger questions around meaning, purpose, identity, and choice, helping you create a life that feels true to you.

  • Expressive Arts: Sometimes words aren't enough. We'll use creativity, art, and other forms of expression to explore emotions and experiences in new ways.

  • Collaborative Care: I can work alongside other professionals or supports in your life so you feel truly surrounded by care.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

During my clinical internship I worked at the Christi Center, a local Austin non-profit providing grief and loss support through free group and individual counseling. I also worked for Hospice Austin’s Camp Braveheart, supporting children grieving the loss of a loved one. I have seen how grief is experienced, beyond death loss, in life transitions and personal shifts, and works to support clients through these losses as well.

On my days off, I’m usually with family or friends listening to music, taking a dip in Barton Springs, or moving my body at the bouldering gym. I also enjoy writing poetry, watching movies, and being creative. As a native Austinite, I value supporting the local businesses that keep Austin weird and returning to the places I’ve loved since I was a kid.
